Alexander McQueen Editorial Tribute
Alexander McQueen’s shocking runway collections earned him the nickname L’Enfant Terrible in the fashion industry. Throughout this editorial piece, the work and achievements of the late Alexander McQueen are archived in detail. Full-page spreads display McQueen's most memorable runway collections from the birth of his fashion career in 1992 to his last show in 2010.
The page layouts were designed to resemble high-fashion magazines, with an abundance of white space and full-page images. Photography takes precedence so that the details of the fashion designs are highlighted and third-width pages throughout the book describe each collection with minimal typography. Feature portraits of McQueen give the viewer a glimpse into his dark personality and sense of humor.
I do not take ownership of any images used from McQueen's fashion shows, collections, or branding. This editorial publication is purely conceptual.
